This course will provide you with the principles of scientific visualization and state-of-the-art rendering techniques that you might find useful for your research work in Biomedical Imaging or in other disciplines where large data sets are produced. You will learn some of the underlying principles and fundamental scientific visualization methods, and we will discuss recent improvements and hardware-accelerated rendering techniques.
